An old Russian Air Force base that is now used as a paradrop base and for gliding. Friendly, ask for access.

RIGA (EVRA/LIX)

On arrival the two IL76s can be seen in the trees opposite the terminal, whilst the TU-134 is parked away on a remote apron on the terminal side. Make sure you visit the museum too.

RUMBULA

Located behind a garage on the way is this ex Air Force base being used by any number of companies. Friendly, ask for access.

SPILVE (EVRS/RSC)

Ask for access, but don’t know if it’ll be granted. If no one around then one hanger has plenty of gaps to peer through, the big hanger has a few gaps but you won’t log much. You probably won’t get anything in the other hangar if it’s shut.
